もしも、縄文時代・古墳時代にサッカーというスポーツが存在していたら… サッカーというスポーツと 3,000年前の文明と出会ったら、何が残るだろうか。SHUKYUとDOGU NOVAは、その問いをひとつの展示物として形にした。発掘されるはずのなかったものが、ここにある。 「縄文時代 球技大會 優勝杯」 大会の覇者に贈られたとされる奉納物。火焔土器の炎と縄文の渦を纏った柱の頂点に、球が掲げられている。優勝者はこれを神に捧げ、次の季節の豊作と勝利を祈願したと伝わる。現代のトロフィーと同じ構造が、4000年前にも存在していたことを、この遺物は静かに証明している。 What if football was a sport 3,000 years ago... SHUKYU Magazine and DOGU NOVA present an imagined archaeology — artifacts from a civilisation that never was, hand-built with Dogu and Haniwa master craftsmen by Takaomi Izawa. An offering to the gods, presented to the champion. The ball raised skyward atop a column of Jomon spirals and flame — the same gesture as every trophy lifted in every stadium today.
