もしも、縄文時代・古墳時代にサッカーというスポーツが存在していたら… サッカーというスポーツと 3,000年前の文明と出会ったら、何が残るだろうか。SHUKYUとDOGU NOVAは、その問いをひとつの展示物として形にした。発掘されるはずのなかったものが、ここにある。 「古墳時代 球技靴」 試合に向かう戦士が履いていたとされる、球技用履物。そして、発掘されたのは埴輪のスパイクであった。丸いスタッドは地面を掴むためではなく、神聖な土地を踏みしめるための儀式的な突起であったと考えられている。紐穴には魂が宿るとされ、紐は通されないまま出土した。 職人・伊澤孝臣と天海志基による手びねり成形。 What if football was a sport 3,000 years ago... SHUKYU Magazine and DOGU NOVA present an imagined archaeology — artifacts from a civilisation that never was, hand-built with Dogu and Haniwa master craftsmen by Takaomi Izawa. A hand-built Cleat believed to have been worn by ritual athletes of the Kofun period. Excavated as a Haniwa, created as a historical reference. Each conical stud was not for traction, but for ceremony. The lace holes were left empty — the spirit, it is said, needed no fastening.
